From Green to Gold

The leaf of a maple tree that, depite pressure from its peers to change into the usual red, has decided to take on a rather more glittering shade, and turned gold instead. Taken at the lake down by the 'rents last weekend. It's so wonderful to see the colours change...last night we had the first frost of the season!! YAY!!
