Petals on the Shore

Not quite, but a very pretty violet muscle shell made itself known to me while stalking the sandy shores of Hirtle's Beach, NS. With its black veins and soft pastel colour against the neutral hues of the sand, I thought it looked a bit like a flower petal.

Not edited in any way, shape or form.

I wish more of the shell was in focus...the end piece is blurry, but my camera has a funny definition of "in focus." Oh well.
