The Dragon's Snack

A picture I took at my cottage, when my sister and I decided to splurge a bit and try some dragon fruit. The fruit as a whole was so pretty, with its vivid magenta husk, creamy white flesh and itty-bitty black seeds, it was just BEGGING to be in a shot. So I took one, with a flower hair pin that I happened to find in my purse at the time. The sunlight feel just right, too.

The dragon fruit was ok in taste...kinda bland. Maybe I should've waited a day or two...maybe it wasn't ripe enough?
