Through the Branches

Yeah, sorry, couldn't think of a better title. Not my night for creativeness.

While at the 'rents over the weekend, watching holiday movies, I noted a flock of birds around the trellis in the backyard. Begging everyone's pardon to pause the movie, I crept outside with my camera, and saw this adorable lil' chickadee, puffed up against the freezing cold, sitting maybe an arm's length away from me. He was kind enough to let me take his regal portrait.
