It's been decided...next time I get a hair cut (probably next pay day), I am going to ask for a pixie cut, similar, perhaps, to the one this lovely actress rocks: hrnstyles.com/medium-haircuts/…
I was hemming and hawing about this for a while, dancing around the prospect, but I figure this much: it's just hair. If I don't like it, there's always hats to rock. And then I'll grow it out, and badda-bing. Done and done. I've never had my hair that short before...should be interesting.
What do you guys think? If you have any other styles you think I might try, gimme a holler...I'm always open for debate ^.^

Greetings, my beauties
Well now, it HAS been a while, hasn't it?
Greetings once more, my delightful minions. How many of you remain at your Headmistress' side is debatable, but I can see why. After months of inactivity, I am attempting to be at least SOME manner of present on this site again.
This is coming after months of dealing with sometimes crippling anxiety, mostly over being online at all. I grew fearful and worried over every little thing, but I cannot continue like this. Coming back to this site is part of my Fear Ladder therapy, meaning I am slowly working my way back through my fears to regain a hold on my life. I cannot promise I will be a regular her
Time to Start Anew?
I have been contemplating leaving this particular identity behind and starting a new dA profile. I've been here for a while now, but I seem to be stuck in a crossroads of old and new. I am, by no means, the same Headmistress I was when I first joined, and I feel stagnant.
Maybe being "reborn" on dA, so to speak, will help me out of that rut. A new name, new look, new groups, new style, a new set of rules. A new me, perhaps?
Of course, I shall seek out any of my friends who have stuck by me all these years. I cannot bear to abandon them, they who have truly made being on this site worth it.
I'm still toying with the idea, but it is there. R
New Year, Everyone
Have tried adding the "Happy" part for 2 years now, and THAT turned out grand :sarcasm: Ergo, I hope everyone has a ____ New Year. Insert your own adjectives...like Mad Libs!!
Anyone have any New Year's resolutions? No? Awesome.
I love my minions!
A Question to my Minions...
So, to anyone who follows my work here (as infrequent as it is), a question: which of my works do you prefer, if either? My writings or my photos? Or another art form?
I wouldn't mind some feedback on this. Might help me streamline, or at least get a feel for what is happening.
I love my minions! I love you all!
 :aww:

Okay. I'm consider myself the short hair guru by now. I've convinced many people to turn to the dark side. The thing about short hair is, it's all about bone structure. If you have high cheekbones or a longer face, it's more likely to suit you. If you have a round face, it could still work, but I think it looks better on a more oval face.
Also, you do have to beware about looking like a boy, especially if you're like me and like to be lazy when you get ready in the morning. It's a challenge for me because of glasses which make me look even MORE masculine. I recommend trying feminine accessories and avoiding the baggy t-shirt and jean combo unless it's just a lazy day and you don't care. Training yourself to wear makeup is good too. I'm going to get a pixie cut soon because I'm obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence's hair, so I'm training myself to at least ATTEMPT to get ready in the morning. Oh...cute head bands are good too!
Finally, it's super easy to manage. You can just wake up and look great, but at the same time, you can learn to style it with gel and stuff. Overall, I love short hair. Apparently it's really fashionable now. I come back to school after spring break and I see people lopping their hair off left and right. You're right. It does grow back. My hair was a pixie in the middle of last semester and now it's back to a chin length bob because I'm too lazy to cut it!
